Sad Boy
We were initially happy to get this photo from a woman who travelled to St. Lucy's to pick up her child. A photo taken taken today -- such immediacy!
But our happiness has slid into sadness. There's something about it -- in the background, trapped in his playpen, combined with our knowing that another child is heading home -- that makes it just plain depressing. Add to it that we got info today from our agency that he was very sick on March 17th, with a fever of 104, and had a fever seizure, and it's obvious that he needs to be home.

Ouch..that hurts my heart. Poor little Lu Yu. I agree, sounds like he needs his mom and dad.
Lu Yu will be in my thoughts...I'm sending good energy his way!
We got some "real time" photo's also...
Ohhh...so sad, but can't look at it that way...maybe anticipation to meet his Mommy and Daddy. Hopefully he will be in your arms soon.
Great photos. Exciting to be a partner in the process and participate as the excitment grows. Joanna and I are looking forward to the "blessed evet" she as babysitter, me as travel partner.
Grandpa Dave
Thanks Amanda and Ann for the kind words. Sadness passes. Seeing the super-short video of him today helped me see that he's a sweet little boy who gets lots of attention and seems very happy. Not as happy as he's going to be, but happy.
And, Dave, we'll be honoured to have you travel with us!
