August Photos
I held back from posting these for a few days, hoping that maybe I'd be able to save some typing and be able to announce The Call. Alas, no call. It's a mixed blessing getting wonderful photos like these -- I can see that he is happy and well cared for, and that he looks good in pink (which is exactly what his sisters will dress him in); the flipside is that no matter how happy he looks, he's still not here.
The details:
The details:
- height: 32.7 inches
- weight: 26.3 lbs
- head: 18.9 inches
- He has 8 upper teeth and 6 lower teeth. All the better for biting with... can't wait for him to meet the judge.

is that a bow in his hair. Those ladies at the orphanage have a sense of humor!! He's getting so big!! He looks wonderful...
Hopefully soon. I know you guys get tired of hearing that. But it's gotta be soon, right!!
3 weeks from today I'm going to be kissing that boy of yours, and I will tell him "Look, buster! Pretty soon, on _____, (insert exact date) Mommy and Daddy will be here to spring you from these weird cross dressing ladies!! So pack your diaper bag and be ready to bust outta this joint!" Or, maybe I'll just kidnap him. :) In the meanwhile, send me some goodies and I'll deliver them for you. Pictures, snugglies...BOY CLOTHING. heheheh.
Seriously, I'll be happy to make a delivery. He's so precious...and you'll be there SOON. (not soon enough, but soon)
Love,
Val
He is absolutely adorable, no matter what gender he chooses to be. I'm keeping my fingers crossed SOON.

I was so hoping you would hear today. I'm thinking about you and your little guy. Just wanted you to know.

Just wanted to let you know that you're in my thoughts and prayers. I'm really hoping you hear something soon.

He is so cute! Sorry so late on the comments - I thought I had to register and just never took the time. Oh well. What a little chunk he is! Very sturdy looking. He is defintely now ready to escape any sisters who want to dress him in a tutu or whatever. No pacifier around his neck now?
It is so great to be able to bond with him before he gets here. In some ways this is harder than only having one still photo to look at, as in the case of Maya.
If ever there were optimistic, positive people to endure this ordeal it is you two. Keep the faith.
